Hello! I’m Jesse — a marketing all-rounder, digital media specialist and filmmaker. I turn ideas into emotion-driven stories that spark connection and inspire action.

I have over a decade of experience leading video production, social media, and marketing campaigns across diverse industries where I developed engaging content and executed results-driven digital strategies. My career began at UniSQ as a Multimedia Producer and evolved through work with brands like Canstar, Absco Sheds, The Organic Garden Co., W Brisbane, Exercise & Sports Science Australia, Long Rays, FitCreature, Bodytrack Exercise Physiology and many more. Most recently, I led the marketing strategy for The Fit Lab — merging my love for storytelling and wellness.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Media (Film & Television, minor in Marketing) and a Master of Screen Direction. I’m passionate about using creative media to help local businesses and creatives tell their stories with impact — balancing technical expertise with innovative storytelling and a focus on authentic human connection and heart.

As a filmmaker, I craft short films and documentaries that move people — stories that make you laugh, cry, or see something in a new light. I’m proud to have been selected for the Screen Queensland and Australian Directors Guild’s ‘Local 2 Global’ Directors Initiative, supporting emerging movie directors in Queensland. I’m currently developing my eighth short film, writing my first feature and leading JLC Film Productions — the filmmaking arm of JL Creative Media — dedicated to bold, thought-provoking storytelling. I also co-founded the Sparrowland Short Film Festival, named one of Australia’s top 10 film festivals in 2024.
